Garden Manager, Wil Ryan is justifiably proud of our garden’s diversity. More than 300 varieties of organic vegetables, fruit, flowers, and herbs are bio-intensively grown under his supervision on more than five 5 acres stretching from valley floor to mountaintop. In addition, 300 of the Golden Door’s 600 acres are planted with citrus and avocado groves. Wil works closely with our Chef, providing most of the seasonal produce for the kitchen as well as supplying our nearby Golden Door Farm Stand. Wil’s weekly Harvest Breakfast and Garden Tour offer our guests a chance to share his love and knowledge of gardening.
