PAIN EMPOWERMENT

ACUPUNCTURE

Acupuncture is a method of bringing the body into balance utilizing the 14 main meridians, or energetic pathways. Through the balancing of the meridians. You can experience relief from chronic to acute health conditions, and a deeper state of relaxation. Treatments are tailored to the individual and typically include acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping and massage.

QI FLOW CUPPING MASSAGE

A unique combination of cupping, an herbal warming modality called moxibustion, and ayurvedic massage. Cupping increases circulation to muscle tissue which causes toxins to be eliminated through the lymphatic system. This circulation enhancing treatment may not be suitable for guests with pre-existing medical conditions.

FELDENKRAIS: FUNCTIONAL INTEGRATION

In this session the practitioner senses and provides feedback through hands-on gentle touch. Through increased awareness, you will learn to reduce effort and let go of patterns in the body to allow for a clearer sense of skeletal support, often leading to greater flexibility, coordination, balance, and posture. This method helps you prevent and recover from injuries while maintaining healthy joints and tissues.

HANDS-ON HEALING

A customized blend of holistic hands-on and energy techniques are employed to promote healing, restoration, and balance within the body including: traditional osteopathic manual therapies • neuromuscular re-education • craniosacral • myofascial release • visceral-neural manipulation • spinal alignment • energy medicine

THERAPEUTIC REHABILITATION ASSESSMENT AND TREATMENT

You will receive an evaluation, focusing on the areas of your musculoskeletal system that are impacted. We will develop a targeted treatment and plan to achieve the most rapid and complete recovery possible. A running or walking video analysis may be performed if this is the underlying cause of your musculoskeletal dysfunction.

FLEXIBILITY AND POSTURE ASSESSMENT

Proper flexibility and posture distribute the force of gravity through our body so that no structures are overly strained. Your assessment includes a flexibility and postural evaluation along with information on how to correct your individual flexibility and postural faults. Following your evaluation will be a hands-on manual stretching session based on your imbalances.

MINDFUL MOVEMENT

LABYRINTH MEDITATION WALK: A JOURNEY WITHIN

Walking the path of the labyrinth in silence relaxes and centers even the most restless of meditators. It enhances mindfulness and gratitude practices and offers comfort and insight in times of stress, grief, or uncertainty. Gain a deeper understanding of how the labyrinth reveals your inner wisdom with the support of a certified labyrinth facilitator. (with available staff)

QIGONG

Get in touch with your internal energy flow (chi/qi) for use in healing and convalescing as well as for general well-being. Learn to focus with patience using gentle movements, meditation, sound, and guided visualization.

TAI CHI

Experience a deeper integration of tai chi tailored to particular physical needs or a desire for more indepth knowledge of tai chi philosophy. Benefits of tai chi include improved strength, coordination, and flexibility • reduced pain and stiffness • better balance and reduced risk of falls • enhanced sleep • greater awareness, calmness, and overall sense of wellbeing.
